Lovely old property and in a brilliant location. Ultimately we spent close to $600 and felt slightly short changed.

The evening meal was far from Michelin quality, but OK. Certainly not worth anything near the $387 we paid out for it. We waited for quite some time for our breakfast in the morning and the restaurant was freezing cold.

Room was perfect. Very clean, and roomy. Breakfast was delicious. We had a drink in the bar and the bartender was pleasant attentive and knowledgeable. We loved it.

With there curbside valet parking, we stepped threw its ruby red doors into a charming interior where we where greeted by there very seasoned staff member who check us in. Although we arrived early, it wasn’t long until we found ourselves within easily walking distance to the beach, stores, and restaurants. Their location, for us, was perfect. After spending some time shopping and having lunch, we returned were we where assigned our room. The room itself was one of the small rooms but was very comfortable. The first thing I noticed was how absolutely spotless this place was and the shower was fantastic. That night we ate in the Ebbitt room Dinner. Our waiter and there staff where very good at what they do. The service was excellent, as was the food. Breakfast in bed the following morning was served to almost to the exact minute we had requested and was delicious. We also appreciated the email communication that keep us up-to-date with daily reminders. We spent two nights at the Virginia and the only thing I regret would was leaving!!

The dinner was exceptional! The decor is always perfect and the bedding is like sleeping on a cloud! The location is awesome!

We are always on the third floor. I wished the quiche didn't have meat. The first time it didn't but every time after it has. I have alphagal syndrome and I can't eat beef, pork or lamb. I think myself as well as all vegetarians would appreciate it because the quiche is the most substantial breakfast item offered on the menu. You could always add a side of bacon on the bottom if people need some meat.

I love this hotel. It needs attention. The room had s very musty smell as soon as you opened the door. I wonder how this affects people’s health. At happy hour i ordered a $23 champagne that was served in a wine glass. Feels a bit neglected. Staff is superb. Kind and friendly
