Gumboot Paradise Eco Stay

The outside fire and bath were a highlight, but the whole place was cute and cosy. Just what my daughter and I needed 🥰 Shelly was a wonderful host 🙏🏼

Absolutely beautiful “off grid” paradise. Cosy and private with a touch of seclusion made this property one of my favourite of all times. Peaceful, natural and stunning. The outdoor bath was incredible, my daughter absolutely loved the swing and the cute upstairs cubby room. The lights give the entire place such a wonderful vibe. I’ve already told everyone I know about this place and I cannot wait to visit again.

Beautiful location and dog friendly , eco stay in whet felt like the middle of nowhere but still accessible to local shops etc

Toilet was a little far from the hut but understandable as it’s a long drop

I loved the out door bath and back to basics with a little rustic luxury .. Bed was super comfortable and everything was clean .

The whole of the accommodation was perfect. All the facilities were clean, built well and beautiful. (Mostly built by the owner btw!). The clean and well equipped kitchen with mega BBQ was our favorite part. Besides that, the garden was designed beautifully with many plants and flowers. The beds were amazing as well. (Better than my own bed at home). And the outdoor living was so fun compared to our daily life in a big city. We honestly have zero complaints. Best place we have stayed in New Zealand!

Awesome spot, so fab to have a rustic yet perfectly set up retreat - even marshmallows for the open fire! So much character, and so well put together you want for nothing
