Royal Park Hotel Dockyard

The two twin beds adjoined kept separating through the night. Had to keep pushing them back together

Very unsatisfactory for international travellers. Very gloomy hotel. Location was horrific. Close to the railway lines. Certain taxi drivers did not know the place existed. The restaurant was very basic. choice of meals extremely basic. The staff were friendly but that did not make up for the gloomy faced men at reception.

I was first given a secluded room which was stuffy. After I complained at reception, I was given a better room which was airy and had street facing windows. The shower does not have a glass partition which meant that water splashed over the entire washroom If you had to go back into the washroom after a shower, you had put up with water over the toilet seat and floor. It was horrible.

I had another booking from a different platform and I had spoken to them about continuing my stay but they without permission entered my room and changed my stuff which had valuables including cash and laptop. No one had authorised them to do so and we had already spoken to them about continuing the same room over the bookings
