Tower Gombito's Apartment

The location was amazing! It was close to everything we needed or wanted to see. The whole area was very walkable. The building and apartment itself were so fascinating with the history of the tower. The layout of the apartment was very comfortable for two couples. Everything we needed was provided in the apartment.

My only complaint was there was only one set of keys. Since we traveled with another couple this became an issue when they weren’t feeling well and my husband and I wanted to go out exploring for the day. We had to get them to go out to let us out and then had to call them later in the day to let us back in.

The apartment was spacious, clean and very well equipped. The communication with Valerio was amazing, he was extremely responsive and accommodating to our needs. The beds were comfortable and the location is great. Bonus points for the historical feel and atmosphere of the apartment. Felt like we were teleported back to simpler times but with all the amenities we might need. This is a gem in Citta Alta!

During the weekend the crowds might get loud and given the fact that this is a historical building with limited options for sound insulation you might be bothered my the noise. There was nothing that the host could do to prevent this. We managed well with some ear plugs.

The location is great, at the beginning of the old town. We was 5 adults, and the apartment was very comfortable for us. I recommend it!

Тhere is an extra charge to drive into the old town to get to the paid parking. Тhe apartment is a little bit noisy in the evening.

We knew from the reviews already, but want to reiterate: It is a very noisy location (even more than expected) and it is difficult to get any sleep before midnight. If you have little children (which we have) and are forced to go to bed before midnight, the apartment is not ideal. If you plan to stay out late and will not realise the noise, the apartment is highly recommended.

Location was spot on. Few steps to everything (food, dessert, small mart, sights). Secure and had almost everything we needed.

Under sofa & bed were dust but other than that, surfaces and place was clean.

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable apartment with excellent location in Citta Alta .As family of five we had enough space ,apartment was clean with all equipment we need. Communication with owner was easy and quick .Valerio provide us with clear direction how to get to apartment.

Location is central, beautiful surroundings. The info we received about the check in procedure was very clear. Specious and comfortable apartment.

The apartment is perfect, it would have been a nice touch if there was some basic items such as coffee pods/tea bags/juice and a couple of brioche in the kitchen just for the initial arrival. This is because we came in late and I can imagine other travellers may have the same experience. The next morning we quickly found the supermarket and had coffee in the many gorgeous bars around the area so it wasn’t an ongoing issue.
