Living Asia Sunset Resort

Leuk kleinschalig resort direct aan het strand met een relaxte sfeer. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Er is een groot zwembad met comfortabele ligbedden en een aantal fijne zitzakken om lekker te relaxen. Het ontbijt was prima: geen buffet (wat ik persoonlijk fijn vond), maar keuze uit een ontbijtmenu met oa lekker veel fruit. Het matras van ons bed lag op zich prima, maar het bed zelf was wat minder stevig; als mijn man zich omdraaide, schudde het bed behoorlijk mee. Tip: huur direct een fiets. Het eiland is klein en lopen is prima, maar het is best warm en fietsen is dan een fijne en verkoelende manier om je te verplaatsen.

Minpuntje is dat de restaurants dicht naast elkaar liggen en er ’s avonds vaak live muziek is of wat hardere muziek gedraaid wordt, waardoor het wat rumoerig kan zijn.

L'hôtel est juste à côté d'une très belle plage. La chambre est spacieuse et décorée avec goût et style. La piscine est génial. Le personnel est le point de force de la structure, toujours disponible et efficace ! Nous avons passé 2 nuits mais on serait resté plus longtemps avec grand plaisir.

Le lit grancait à chaque mouvement, ça pourrait être dérangeant pour des personnes avec un sommeil léger.

The staff were delightful! Location was great. They had live music every evening which was amazing.

Rooms could have been better, especially shampoo and soap in the washroom. One of the nights a party nearby (in a different property) went on until 5am which was audible in our room.

Très bien placé, animé, confortable et personnel très gentil.

The location was excellent, right on the beach. The pool was lovely and usually quite quiet. The restaurant was also lovely, set right on the beach - the perfect view for breakfast and morning coffee! I had a lovely welcome drink when I arrived. The staff also helped me organise a snorkeling trip with little notice which was great. I was asked via WhatsApp what time I wanted my room cleaning each day which was very good service. I felt safe there as a solo traveller.

The room was quite rustic, run down and didn't feel very clean. The door had a gap which allowed bugs to enter. There were cracks and marks on the wall. The bedding felt damp and had tears and stains. They didn't empty the bin as part of the daily cleaning until I asked. They ran out of clean towels one day which was very annoying. Depending on who was working the breakfast shift, it could be quite slow.

The staff were genuinely friendly, the pool is large and deep, the location right next to the beach is excellent, and the shower was good. These were the highlights.

Unfortunately we regret staying here and would not return. The issues were numerous enough that they significantly impacted our experience. The biggest concern was hygiene - the bedsheets were visibly stained, and when we asked housekeeping to change them, they simply remade the bed with the same sheets rather than replacing them. We had to follow up again to get fresh linen. We also encountered cockroaches and other insects in the room. The bed itself was very soft and lumpy, making it difficult to get a comfortable night’s sleep - which was already a challenge given the proximity to a nearby nightclub. On one night, music continued until 5am and there was nothing we could do about it. The walls also offer virtually no soundproofing, and we were woken by a child crying in the adjacent room. The room lacked basic amenities - there was no TV and no full-length mirror, only a small decorative mirror positioned at face height (not useful for anyone of average or taller height). The toilet was also not in great condition.

- serviettes « propres » qui sont jaunes ou oranges (traces de makeup) - 2 géants cafards trouvés dans la chambre et des insectes à l’entrée - SDB en extérieur SANS LUMIÈRE arrivé 18h sortez les lampes torches !!! Si pluie alors lavez vous avec l’eau de pluie ou patientez jusqu’à la fin de l’averse. - chambre défraîchit au possible, peinture qui s’écaille, draps troués, tachés etc. - piscine DEGEULASSE on voit toutes les substances de crèmes solaires et autres au-dessus de l’eau … - NE SURTOUT PAS PRENDRE D’EXCURSION avec l’agence collée à l’hôtel (indépendante de l’hôtel mais attention c’est un gros arnaqueur) - choisissez bien vos dates, si vous y êtes le vendredi/samedi soir, boîte de nuit collé à l’hôtel qui vous empêche de dormir jusqu’à 6h du matin !!!!! —> un nightmare

Localización perfecta enfrente de la playa. Muy tranquilo y muy limpio.
