The beach location and the friendly staff

The service and the location was just amazing. Some of the best service we have had. We could not been happier about this. The pool was so nice and the rooms are soo clean. They clean every day and even come in the night and fix it up in the afternoon. Breakfast is good and you can choose between a lot of different things. (For gluten free they have fruit and youghurt, and “normal porridge” for non-celiac.

3 things: the two first are the only reason they not get a 10/10: 1. Bad WiFi on the room. 2. Mosquitoes: There is a small gap under the door, where mosquitos can come in (and they came). Because of this, there should be a mosquito net over the bed. 3. Too loud (and not so good) music every night at the hotel restaurant, not a problem for sleeping since it finishes early, but just annoying (and probably the reason to why they don’t have soo many guests in the night).

La chambre était spacieuse et très bien aménagée, avec une vue imprenable. Le petit-déjeuner proposait une belle variété de produits frais et savoureux. Le personnel était accueillant et attentif à chaque détail.

Le service du restaurant était légèrement lent aux heures de pointe.

We decided to go to Gili Air over night and booked Living Asia because of its location! Did not regret it at all! Hotel staff was very welcoming, helped us to rent a bike. The hotel is clean, has a great pool and a good restaurant with live music in the night.

They offered us “free massage” for the booking but did not tell us we had to book in advance. When we went to ask about the massage de lady said se was full for the next days (even though we saw no costumer go in). Sad because ir would have been amazing.

The site does not mention that Asia Living has live music EVERY night till 10pm and non live music with nightclub crowd until midnight and later. It was untenable for our booking of “family suites “ (3 young children,8,5,3) because the suites were directly above the bar and music. The manager and staff were lovely and moved us to small bungalows down the back but there was very difficult tense and complex negotiations with owner about recompense. To his credit and with much time spent by us online to booking.com, we were recompensed but PLEASE BE AWARE that this is a live music/drinking/nightclub venue not a family resort

Location is the best on the island, between Mowies and Mama’s pizza, perfect for sunset and easy reach to the harbour/center (5 min). Staff is outstanding and so kind! They made us feel very welcome! The cats add a lot of charm too and they are well taken care of ❤️ We loved if so much, we stayed another 3 nights!

Housekeeping sometimes took a few reminders.
