Point Village Guest House

Booking was done with breakfast not included, so I knew in advance. Small private fridge provided in my room. I had a balcony, which I did not expect, but used all the time! Location is perfectly excellent!

Open view in stead of Dstv hospitality package is not acceptable for 3 star rating. Tv also not cast or screen share compatible when I wanted to use my own Dstv streaming. The Point Village rules of no noise between certain times were not enforced AT ALL by Point Village hotel right next door. Booking.com caused additional currency exchange fee as they are based outside of SA.

Close to the beach & restaurants.

Location was perfect, near beach and a few restaurants. A short walk to coffee shops and shopping. Great views of the sea from the balcony. Comfy bed. Parking available right outside door.

Noisy fridge in room, I’m a light sleeper so may not bother most people.

The guess house was shocking. For the location I am shocked that you even want people to sleep in that one bedroom . No windows opened and the one that did was full of bird poop!! Nee man, Julle kan better doen in Mosselbaai!

The reception lady was so helpful and up graded me to the hotel after I said I can’t sleep in that room. The staff there was amazing , the Hotel is in a better state than the guest house. But can still be up graded for how busy Mosselbay gets in December

Mosselbay is a stunning place

They show your fantastic photos, then put you in a room with no seaview....then said you can upgrade with extra costs...always a catch !
