Everything. This place, albeit 7 mins from the airport, was awful. We arrive at a building site, noise, terrible. The host met me, and after stepping over rubble, he helped me up 17 steps that were very steep and virtually a ladder covered in tatty astroturf ! No good for a 71 year old with 2 new hips, and 23kg of luggage Arriving at reception, a loose word for a desk, he wanted payment immediately, having not enough rupees and card was not an option. We then went back down the ladder over the rubble to an ATM a 100yrds down the road, back up the ladder, and made the payment 1,600 rupees?£16) Shown to my sleeping quarters, which was nothing more than a cupboard. The bedroom apparently was the deluxe room😂. Bed dominated the cupboard with just enough room to get in and out with a bedside cabinet. The duvet, which was originally white, was grey, stained, ripped filthy bottom sheet, skanky filthy pillow cases. Next, the bathroom toilet was stable, but no loo roll. Sink, mirror, toilet seat, floor, disgusting.! Not seen any cleaning forever. Soap, scum, hair ! Toilet system leaking onto over flowing bucket on the floor. Right decision time.!! I have 12 hours before my return to the airport, so suck it up, lock the bolt on the door, and sit it out. Didn’t get in the bed, Layed on the top with my clothes on, putting my fleece on the pillow. Did I sleep 😴 definitely not, banging knocking along the corridor outside most of the night people coming, going, talking. The internet was turned off at midnight, so that put paid to my phone for entertainment, only realised at 2am when my data ran out ☹️The only positive thing was the , A/C and at 4 am, am the owner got and carried my suitcase down the ladder. I had an issue with my prebooked taxi and he made a phone call and waited with me outside until it came, thankful for that as a dog was going crazy barking and he kept it away throwing stones at it.! This property wants knocking down. Don't stay here !!! Ever !!!
