Property Notes

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Dear valued guests and patrons of Telang Usan Hotel, Please be advised, starting on 17th May 2024 until 31st July 2024, the next phase of maintenance and renovation works will be carried out in certain rooms on level 1 of Telang Usan Hotel. These renovations and maintenance works are necessary and will allow our valued guests a much more enjoyable stay at Telang Usan Hotel in future. During the renovation period, work will commence from 08:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs. As a result, there will be some construction noise during this period. However, we will do our best to keep the noise to a minimum. We apologize for any inconvenience it may cause and your understanding is much appreciated.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Nice hotel - shame about the staff"

The room was fine

The staff were unhelpful and indifferent. There was no porter to assist with luggage and they simply watched as I struggled with it.

"Telang Usan: Refuge in the city"

The secluded location. My room window looked out to old, tall leafy trees. Traditional Dayak cuisine is very good. Will recommend highly to others.

Some plumbing noises in the night. The door needed some strength to pull shut, and could have been left slightly open without careful checking. Wardrobe doors flaking due to age.

"Nice and comfortable stay"

The hotel staff didnt check the bill properly and tell me tht i havent settle my bill which i have made payment thru CC during my booking. I think booking.com shud in communication with hotel staff so this thing shudnt be happened coz it trouble some. next time please email us the receipt proof of payment so tht ur customer can show it to hotek staff during check in

Receipet and proof of payment shud be send thru email to ur customer. Make sure u have communicate with the hotel properly so that we as customer didnt face this kind of problem in the future.
