I enjoyed that our room was ground floor and we were probably less than 30 seconds from being able to swim into the ocean. We could also step out on to our balcony and the pool was right there. The food was also good...

The overall service could have been much better. I appreciate the concept of island time, but even locals who had come to dine in the hotel's restaurant were complaining about how long it took for food to be served. I don't know what they were doing in that kitchen, but we quickly learned that if we wanted dinner, and we knew we would get hungry, we would have to go up to the restaurant an hour beforehand so the food would arrive in time for us to not be hungry for so long. Honestly, the food was good, but the service was poor.

Fantastic location by the sea. The room was fabulous and the beds were one of the best I'd slept in.

The food. We had two meals here, dinner and breakfast. For dinner we had chicken roti. The flavour was nice but extremely dry in texture. I told a member of staff and asked if I could have some gravy to pour on top. He agreed it looked dry and even said he'd travelled all over the world and knows that a good roti should be 'juicy' not dry. The little gravy helped but was still too dry so I had to leave most of it. We paid for that meal. Breakfast was included in our stay so we decided to have the Caribbean breakfast from the menu which is saltfish with plantain and breadfruit. The breadfruit was tough and dry and obviously not freshly prepared and the saltfish was not the best but ok. If these dishes are to represent Vincy food to a new visitor, then that's a real shame because I know the food here is one of the best in the Caribbean. All in all a decent stay however a few improvements can make it an exceptional experience.

When we came in and called the hotel caused, we landed earlier than expected. The driver didn't come out the bus and look for us. He picked up other people. Also, the breakfast was terrible , and the bake was hard . I wouldn't be staying there again . Customer service is really poor . Also we had to wait in a room when we came in because we were early . But if u get up and keep checking to see if a room was really the lobby, it would have been my room, it seemed like .No communication, no customer service, really poor, so disappointed.

The staff were attentive and the only exceptional thing about the hotel and my stay

The room security lock was missing key features, there was no hot water and in cases no water at all, the bathroom was dingy. The facility could use a renovation and appears to have not seen anything new since it was built. New sheets and towels are important, but that does not a good experience make. The hotel knew my party was 5 people and refused to hive each of us a bottle of water and only gave is 4, and then told us to go to the bar and buy water.
