The Little Fountain House

The bed made up of a Bed/Divan was quite comfortable and left as a bed.I did not like anything else.

Bookin .com said it was an apartment.It was a wooden shack inset from a very sharp driveway drop.I had to leave the wooden two gates open and park my car on the narrow ledge the top of the driveway otherwise with my classic car would of had difficulty getting out.Outside,Empsons Hill are one in 8 and 10 very stee hills-not normal hills as we know. Inside the wooden shack is room with a small collapsible table,Divan Bed, and television that I gave up trying to get BBCI etc. The door from the main room led to the cold elongated kitchen galley.It had a small electric hotplate I could not see how to use.A tricky quarky water lever for hot and cold,with a minute metal basin/drainng board.there was no room to put a plate or anything else their.All together a very cramped layout.The room wall attached small electric radiator was on low making the room very chilly. It took sometime to work out how to up the thermostat to achieve an acceptable room temperature.Lynne the owner .I can only assume it was not in her interest to tell me how to increase the room heating. All together a very disappointing experience .This is the first and last time I will ever pay a third party directly.In the past I have always paid booking .com directly for accommodation with no regrates and would like to keep it that way.

Cute quirky very well designed and well appointed. Absolutely delighted with the private fountain which can be controlled from the accommodation

A bit cold and draughty. Would definitely return in the summer but maybe not in the winter time.

We we loved it as so quirky. Perfect for a weekend away. Bed was so comfy too

Couldn’t get the underfloor heating to turn on so was chilly on an evening, also had difficulty getting the shower on (couldn’t get it on the second time we tried). Dishwasher cute but didn’t fit the dinner plates in, so kinda no point
