Base in Onnason,Okinanawa

We stayed 5 night in Base, Onna and we really enjoyed very much. The Villa is on 2 floors. The description from booking is really accurate. The Villa has a very well equipped kitchen with water filter, Nespresso coffee machine, crepes machine, deep frying console and many more utensils. Washing machine is handy and brand new too. Megumi was a great host. She kept open and clear communications with me via Booking App, sharing all useful info and answer promptly to my query. She was extremely kind to extend our stay for one night and when we got an issue with the washing machine, she took action immediately. A public beach is within walking distance and great to enjoy sunset view on the beach. Around the area there are plenty of convenience store and restaurant but a car is needed to move freely. I really recommend Meguni’s place and hope to come back at some stage.

Maybe a little bit more cutleries (numbers) would have been useful.

Fast check in. instruction provided is easy to understand. owner is so kind to provide me with the requested iron for clothing. owner even provided home instruction manual for electrical appliances which is truly helpful. my kids also had so much fun playing with the toys. that is one of the reasons we choose this unit, and we have no regrets!

we arrived at night so the neighborhood area is a bit dark. the parking area is also a bit dark. I think this house would be perfect for those with car. if using public transport then maybe not as convenient. Also the smell of tatami floor on 2nd floor is a bit strong. i guess since it is a new tatami hence why the smell is still quite strong. maybe owner can do something about it. But all in all we truly had a great stay!

It’s clean and well-equipped. I especially like the house inner design and child friendly facilities and toys they prepared.

The communication with the host was great! He was super helpful and efficiently answered all our questions. The house is clean and cozy. It is bigger than it looks, we were in 5 and it was definitely spacious enough for us. The position is good (10 minutes walking from the beach).

These are just really minor things. A larger pan/pot would have been useful. There were only two small pots. The bath towels are a bit small.

Super kids-friendly, the best experience you can get. Maybe it's better if you have a car, but we were without a car and everything was fine. Taxi to Nabee beach - 2800 yen, to Nago - 5000 yen, to KARIYUSHI beach - 700 yen. Definitely recommend, amazing house
