Base in Onnason,Okinanawa

The house is very clean and well equipped. The owner gave us very clear instructions on how to get there and how to use the appliances.

We really loved the house - 3 bedrooms, 2 toilets, a bathroom and a kitchen + living room. Everything was super clean and well-organized. Easy parking, good location to explore the island. Very well equipped, AC in every room, good internet. Would definitely stay there again!

Check-in was super confusing, as was the communication overall (also the house manual). I guess it would be different if we spoke Japanese. Be aware that in the vicinity there are at least 3 clusters of identical houses, with the same numbers and names. So use the coordinates received by email, otherwise you will be lost. Okinawa is a holiday island, so keep in mind that most people who rent the houses in that neighborhood are there to party, also at night.

The house was fantastic and very clean and had all the amenities you would need - washing machine, detergent, drying rack, hangers, extra towels. We didn't use the kitchen, but I could see all the usual appliances and utensils. We choose the area Onna as a mid-way base to access locations on the top of the island e.g. aquarium, Bise, Kouri Island, Nago so we didn't have a long drive from Naha at the bottom. It was so nice to come back to the house at the end of the day to relax.

Nothing to complain. Just be mindful this is a Japanese house so toilet and shower facilities are located separately. Also stairs are steep so may not be good for people with mobility issues.
