Rambai Tree Jungle Lodges - Family Friendly

We stayed in the tree house and loved the view and balcony - bathroom downstairs was cool - booked hike through them too which was fantastic - tia is a fantastic host and makes you feel at home- one of the better choices given proximity to jungle

This is juste the perfect place ! At the end of the village, so more quiet, front of the gorgeous river. My bungalow was huge and very charming. But most of all Tia welcome you in the best way. She's very kind and gives very good advices, so you can trust her to organise a treck in the forest. I did it and it was a magic moment ( and physical ! ). I love Bukit Lawang, it's a very beautiful place and you can trust me : go to Rambai Tree Jungle lodge you will love it !

Very good communication beforehand (thanks Clare) Organized a private driver (ask for Wahyu!) to get us from Parapat to Bukit Lawang in 2 days for 2400000 IDR We felt very welcome here (thanks Tia and team) Large room close to the water - minimal stairs Nice food Walking distance to center and restaurants

This is the most amazing place to stay. I've been to the jungle in India, Borneo and the Phillipines but Rambai Tree Eco Jungle Huts not only provided the most comfortable accommodation but they made us feel like family ❤️🙏. Romi and Tia communicated efficiently and clearly from the moment I booked, several months ago. They provided a very reasonably priced, friendly and knowledgeable return airport shuttle - Wayhu, and the best guides - Ronie and Nanda. We saw Orangutans, Gibbons, Thomas Leaf Monkeys, and a monitor lizard in just a half day trek! As well as being visited daily by the local Macaque troop and several large bats. Tia cooked us the most fantastic farewell dinner and we were genuinely sad to leave. Nothing was too much trouble for them ❤️

There was nothing that we didn't like. We were made to feel like family x

The owner helped us to arrange the guide and airport taxi before arrival! When we arrived, my friend was not feeling well so the owner managed to change the duration of the trek and suggest other activities. Also, she managed to extend the stay and we kept the same room (from 1 night to 4 nights). We were pleased with nice food and hospitality like delivering food or tea to our room! Our room was upgraded to the family room which was more accessible from the river. I highly recommend this place!
