Rambai Tree Jungle Lodges - Family Friendly

The views are stunning and Tia and the stuff are amazing. So welcoming and helpful. They also helped me to get the guide for the orangutan trekking excursion.

Everything was perfect, the only thing that I could say is that the mosquito net was too thick (more like a bed sheet) so the air from the fan couldn’t go through so it was a bit hot and humid in the bed.

We had a great time at the Rambai Tree Jungle Lodges. Tia is an amazing host and we felt right at home from the beginning. She was very helpful with organizing transfers and a jungle expedition. The food was great and the Bintang was cold. Thank you for the warm welcome!

Beautiful location with lovely staff

The location of this place is perfect and the view is amazing. Close to the village but not to close. Please make more of an effort for your guest then you have an amazing place.

We where welcomed with there is your place here is the key (young guy). Not a hello or something but really unpersonal. When we entered the room it was fine but not how you expect it. There was some Gekko shit on the floor (I understand we are in the jungle) but you can expect that to be clean on arrival. There was also dried cement on the floor which you can easily get of but there is just no love for the house from the owners. After telling them it was cleaned so that is good ofcourse. One thing what I do think what was really bad is the breakfast it was not made with any love (lets say ot like that) After that we had breakfast somewhere else everyday.

Honestly at first when we arrived at night, it was raining heavily, we were shocked to find this property was the only one with no electricity. Turned out there was a blackout due to a tree fall, and they don‘t use a generator, which is actually a good thing that we support. We love everything about our stay, comfortable room where we saw different animals, including some monkeys from the balcony. Everyone working here were very helpful and kind. Certainly a place to stay, when you appreciate nature like us, and not bothered by the hike going upstairs.

Wauw, what an amazing place to stay. The view is just stunning from the big relaxing balcony. The bed is big and nice. The owner is the sweetest you can ever imagine, she really helps you with everything you want and is the best chef cook, fantastic

10/10 recommend staying at this place when visiting Bukit Lawang. Tia the owner is the nicest and most helpful host and made sure all my questions and organizational issues (like figuring out how to get from Bukit Lawang to Banda Aceh) got taken care of super quick and with so much care. I also took a cooking class with her which was really cool and the driver Wahyu that picked me up from the airport was also such a nice person to have met. The 2 days 1 night Jungle Trek I organized with them also was really great! Our main guide Jojo was so knowlegable and fun and made sure we had a great experience. I especially loved how attentive he was with me being vegan and made sure I got really great food during the 2 days. Nando and him were a great team to guide us through the Jungle! I was travelling alone and stayed in the upper room for 2 nights and really loved my time there. You can really tell that this place is run with a heart and i couldnt have felt more welcomed and at home away from home :). Apart from the team the location of the place is also just extra special! Thank you so much for everything, would love to come back someday :)

Great location next to the river where you can swim and next to the jungle, so be sure to hear and see apes. The owner/staff is very friendly and supportive and prepared also local food for us. We had the two apartments for our family of 7. The rooms are clean, pretty new and have lots of atmosphere. We would stay here happily again for sure
