Villa Mangku in Ricefield

We were warmly welcomed by Devy the host who was very helpful and helped organising activities as well as taking us sightseeing. There's a small Warung at the end of the pathway used to get to the villa (a bit more than 5 minutes walk) that serves delicious meals from breakfast to dinner. Overall, a great stay 👍 I somewhat wish we had continued our stay in Ubud instead of heading to Seminyak afterwards as we were very comfortable Villa Mangku. Thank you Devy.

The downstairs bedrooms are a bit too humid for my liking so I chose one of the upstairs room with view onto the pool and rice field, this may be due to the outdoor shower concept.

We traveled as a group of 7; 3 couples and a single. We each had our own bedroom with en suite bathroom. Aircon and ceiling fans in every bedroom. Double storey villa with ample living area for time together and time apart. Beautiful private swimming pool. The location was fantastic. Set in the rice paddy, there is a 500m walk to the main road in one direction with a delightful coffee shop for delicious meals and coffee. Devy and Wayan shuttle your bags by scooter while you have an easy flat walk to the villa. Walking from the Villa in the opposite direction takes you right into Ubud - again an easy flat walk with plenty art, clothing and coffee shops on the way. The WIFI is excellent and Devy is really helpful. We had massages in the villa, takeaways delivered, our fridge topped up beverages as we ordered. We cannot recommend Villa Mangku more highly. Devy was a fabulous tour guide and arranged a spectacular cooking course for us all.

Large common area and super clean with many chair and pillow. 4 large room with clean linen. Each room has aircond and fan, 4 towel and soap. There is kitchen, wifi and fridge on ground floor and first floor. Complete kitchen amenities and utensil. Clean pool

A little bit far from main road

The villa was amazing. It was even better in person than in the photos. All of the bedrooms were very large, had high ceilings, and their own bathrooms. The house was beautiful. The pool was generously sized and allowed our kids hours of fun playtime! We loved the peaceful setting in the rice fields. Our host Devy was so helpful and accommodating. He helped arrange drivers for us, several different excursions/tours, and was very responsive to all questions. We had an incredible time in Bali and loved staying at this villa in Ubud! Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again!
