Forthay Bed and Breakfast

The breakfast was good.

Sharing a bathroom.

Excellent host, lovely and cosy cottage. Enjoyed every minute of our stay. We'd definitely like to visit again

The bathroom, fluffy white towels, good quality toiletries

So much, the banister going up the stairs was loose. The floor in the bedroom sloped so this meant the bed did too as did the side table. Breakfast: One previously used serviette was on the table presented for us to use, the other serviette was clean and ironed.Once pointed out a clean one was given. Only muesli made by the owners as the cereal option. Obviously this is because it is another one of the businesses of the owners. Coffee presented in a mug with milk already added brought at the same time as the orange juice so had to drink it or it would get cold. Croissant was only very mildly warm. The cooked breakfast was not very good. Dining room lacked care and presentation. We had to walk over a large wet lawn to access the property hence our shoes were damp as the grass was not short I really think people need to attend a B&B course before setting themselves up as a bed and breakfast. This couple have been doing it for three years and have a lot to learn. I am sorry but this is not a deluxe room or visit.

Very comfortable room and bed. Humphrey the cat!

The bathroom needs attention. The soap dispenser was empty and there’s no room for toilet bags. No brown sugar at breakfast.

It was all fine

Eclectic decorations. Powerful shower. Gracious host, offered tea on arrival. Yummy homemade granola.
