Beach Front Studio Napier

The location was perfect. Very good facilities.

Could hear people next door. Lighting was very poor.

There's good enough for our need.

Air conditioner is not functioning properly, we didn't use the washing machine, but it was running 4 hours since we checked in.

Very good location on ocean front and close to town facilities. Beds comfortable and 2 bedrooms so very spacious. New appliances incl washing machine.

Some issues we had. There was no sugar and the sugar bowl had salt in it which we found out the hard way. Street parking only. No manuals or instruction for the appliances - unable to use washing machine . Airconditioner controller not working properly if at all. There was no water at the sink until we investigated the plumbing under the sink and found how to turn it on. The fuse box above the bed in the second bedroom had no lid on it. The lounge suite was of average comfort.

The location meant for lovely walks to the beach and the cottage itself was quaint with lovely aged features. The owners were responsive when we ran into issues which we appreciated.

The air conditioner remote didn’t work - we eventually worked out we could turn the machine on from the mains power box however the remote was stuck on heating. In summer this was uncomfortable and there was no fans either. We did contact the owner who was very responsive in offering to come look the next day, but by that stage I had worked out how to manually override it so that it was set at 24 degrees which was bearable for our stay. Unfortunately it was not very clean, the beds were old and uncomfortable, there was no laundry detergent and the towels were almost threadbare. With a few essential upgrades this could be a great stay!!

Not very comfortable furniture. Guest info for washing machine & aircon not provided. Room cold on very wet night.

Very good location, opposite the Aquarium. I got my 10K steps in walking to the CBD along the wonderful Napier beach front path. 34 degrees but thankfully there wss a good breeze. Parking on the street right outside the front door.

It's half an old house so had some minor issues like ill fitting doors. Noisy Marine Parade on one side and the freight rail tracks on the other.
