Could not figure out the shower

Nothing really.

The linen was stingy, and the toilet was not flushing well. The shower was faulty, and water could get so hot.

The bed was ok, but the WiFi and service was horrible , and brought us too a different guest house and it was horrible, and the staff was unhelpful and had poor communication, and ignored us whenever we ask for help and assistance , and had webs on the ceiling, the bed was the only thing that was decent , also the experience itself didn’t live up to our expectations ,

Ease of booking at short notice and economical stop over to break my journey back to Kent. Kitchen facilities are provided.

Room layout and bed comfort could have been better, but OK for the price. Location is a little indifferent, not really close to any particular attractions.

Able to sleep for the night, considering we are exhausted from a long drive.

I had informed the owner in advance that I would arrive at 3:00 pm, which is the normal check-in time. I arrived at the property after 4:00 pm and had received no message or communication from the owner. I had to call them to find out what was happening, only to be told that the original property had been flooded and that I would need to go to another property. I didn’t mind the change as it was only a short distance away, but this should have been communicated earlier. I was told that the owner had been trying to get in touch with me, however my phone was working perfectly fine. There were multiple ways to contact me, including email or messaging through Booking.com, so there was no excuse for the lack of communication. When I arrived at the second property, the room was dirty and not ready. I couldn’t enter straight away and had to wait while calling the owner several times to get the key. This was very inconvenient as I was rushing to get ready for an event that evening. Overall, the place felt run-down and unclean. There was also a very strong smell of cooking throughout the property, which was unpleasant on arrival.

The manager was exceptionally helpful in addressing all my requirements.

I was hoping that a discount might be introduced to the original fee, given the extended duration of my stay.
