Overall everything was good. Facilities were clean and pretty. Lady at reception was so nice and helpful.

Futon was a bit hard for our backs.

Perfect for a short stay in Kyoto. Our room was spacious, we could leave 2 suitcases open and still walk around the room with ease. The room was clean and comfortable, communication through Booking.com was fine, instructions were very clear.

When compared to other places in the Japan, the value for money is not as good. We have been in Kyoto during the golden week, I don't know whether the prices are lower in other times. The bus is quite close, but it can get very crowded when coming back from the city center (again, maybe it was just the golden week).

Convenient stay, good value for the money. I enjoyed the 10 days. Located in a nice neighborhood not far from Kyoto station(15min walk) and Tofukuji station(7 min walk). A few nice local restaurants and konbini around. I was traveling alone so I didn’t mind the smaller rooms. There is a washing machine and a microwave.

Only one set of towels for the whole stay. Really thin walls, could sometimes hear neighbors talking and other inappropriate stuff haha

The building looks new and the lobby seems clean and bright

Our room was at the corner on the ground floor. The room is extremely humid that water gathered on the window, walls and our cloth and quilt all felt very damp. 3 towels for people’s 3 nights stay which was not enough for such a damp room and there were no where to hang our cloth at all. Bathroom wasn’t clean - hair was on the ceiling when we checked in. Overall, for this price, I would have expected more. A very disappointed stay for us.

Functional and clean

Nice room, but there’s rarely anyone taking care of the place. The dryer is stuck with lint and it barely dries. Rooms are humid too. Very well situated.
