Nehansa Resort and safari

The staff were super friendly and helpful! Our room was spotless and really lovely, as was the whole house, its plants and peaciful surroundings—we loved it! You can even order lunch from a local restaurant at a good price. Lots of shops etc. nearby. We went on a full-day safari for $78 per person and on the way back in the late afternoon we get to be lucky and saw a leopard! So do book a full day safari …They also arranged a private ride to our next stop in Arugam.for 40USD with a experienced driver.Highly reccomend to stay overnight if you do whole day safari since there are elephans on the road at night and that could be sometimes dangerous. What an unforgettable experience!

Sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal und sehr gutes, hauseigenes Essen. Gemütliches und sauberes Zimmer. Der aufmerksame Gastgeber hat uns am späten Nachmittag umsonst zu einer Tour in die Umgebung mitgenommen um Vögel, Krokodile und Flughunde zu beobachten. Ein schönes Erlebnis! Perfekt organisierte Safari in den Jala-Nationalpark mit bemühtem und sehr kompetentem Guide. Unkomplizierte Taxi-Transfer-Vermittlung. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Alles in allem ein perfekter Aufenthalt!

Great hotel, the staff were super friendly and wanted to make sure we had a great time, drove us to the bus station and helped us with the buses, meant we saved 2 hours of the journey. Interesting drive around the river in the evening. Nice breakfast and evening meal

The hospitality at Nehansa was amazing. The staff pick you up and drop you off at the bus station, and ensure you get on the proper bus when leaving town. I booked the Yala half day safari through Nehansa, and it went smoothly. They even provided binoculars for the tour, which was something other safari participants didn’t have. The room was perfect, and the food was delicious.

Aardig personeel dat goed voor je zorgt. Bieden goede faciliteiten aan en zelfs een gratis Lake tour. Via hen ook de safari gedaan die enorm gelukt was en goed verzorgd. Aanrader!

Struttura bellissima e tranquilla, camere pulitissime, personale sempre disponibile. Abbiamo chiesto di poter fare il safari nel pomeriggio per ragioni organizzative e sono prontamente venuti incontro alle nostre esigenze. Colazione e pasti ottimi! Bravi ragazzi e grazie per la vostra accoglienza!

Appena arrivati, lo staff ci ha accolto con una deliziosa noce di cocco da cui bere acqua buonissima. Camera pulita e dotata di asciugamani e asciugacapelli con acqua calda. Personale gentile e disponibile. Noi avevamo prenotato un Safari di mezza giornata con loro e ci hanno permesso di lasciare i bagagli e farci una doccia al rientro. Direi che non ci è mancato proprio nulla! Molto disponibili anche nei vari trasporti da una struttura all'altra con una perfetta organizzazione. La struttura offre anche la possibilità di fare cena e pranzo in loco.

Rispetto a quello che mi aspettavo, la struttura è molto lontana dal parco (circa mezz'ora), il che non aiuta date le tante jeep e la coda che si forma all'entrata prima dell'apertura.

The staff was super friendly and we could even do a little animal watching tour on the arrival evening (5pm). They organised our safari and a driver to Arugambay, which was super easy.
