Pilgrims Rest with Annexe

Lovely property that comfortably accommodated family of 5. Lots of usable areas so we could spread out. Parking for 2 cars.

Check in a bit earlier than 17:00 would have been nice.

Pilgrim's Rest is a fantastic cottage, right from walking through the door we felt welcomed and at ease. It is cozy without you and an enormous variety of nooks and crannies indoors and out that you are invited to explore. Facilities are substantial enough to be able to entertain a family over the festive period, there's plenty to keep you occupied! Situated on the edge of Cheddar, it is just a few minutes walk to the Strawberry Line and the Reservoir, and only a 10-15 minute walk from the sights of the town and the gorge.

A few sneaky gaps in the doors and windows mean that the ventilation can get to a level that some might find a bit annoying.

House was very nice

No heating at night. Has 2 small children. Was very cold

Quiet location. All the thoughtful detail to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Spacious. I loved the annexe.

Great little querky cottage, a home not just a holiday home, OK the annex is a garage but it's got its own toilet and shower very comfy

The annexe was fantastic. General lovely layout and lots of information from communicative hosts

Second bedroom in main house a little small, not a problem for us as we didn't use it and in fairness this is shown in pictures so this is not a complaint, just a comment :) Also very minor niggle, the kitchen table doesn't leave much space for legs as it has an ornamental sort of "valance"
