Pilgrims Rest with Annexe

Very convenient for family close by, feels like home from home.

That the bathroom, especially toilet, is downstairs.

Location was perfect for cheddar Gorge and beds were comfy

Arrived early and got a message to say we could get access earlier. Everything was just beautiful, we brought every thing with us as you do but they have every thing with milk, orange on arrival so you can have a cuppa. Loved the old style roll top bath, summer house and we sat by the fire pit watching the stars. You could walk to the local Tesco and a 5 min drive to restaurant. Lovely house, with music room and the annex was perfect for the brother in law. A great place for base to explore cheddar, well looked after and they have made it a lovely home that becomes yours for the stay. Nice garden, big enough rooms, towels and we felt very comfortable. Beautiful part of the country to visit. Big driveway for 2 cars.

Windows in the second bedroom didn’t open very much so quite warm

Quirky house Toilet and bathroom on the ground floor no access from bedrooms upstairs Difficult to get in and out of shower as shower over large bath - needs a non slip mat at least Curtains around shower difficult to manage Small lounge not comfortable for 6 people

Highly recommend this Lovely little place in a nice quiet cul-de-sac. Plenty of room to sit and chill out in the house or garden after busy days exploring beautiful cheddar gorge. We all enjoyed it!
