The location was good, the air conditioning was strong and the large balcony had excellent views

The apartment was very dirty on arrival. The floors had not been cleaned (they were filthy), there were used, wet towels in closets, half-eaten food in multiple rooms and cigarette butts in ashtrays. There were no basic amenities to make coffee or tea, the toaster was broken, the TV remote was broken (so it was unusable), there were only two mugs for coffee (the place sleeps 6+), 4 glasses for water and drinks, and not enough dishware or even knives and forks for everyone. The outdoor furniture was also falling apart. It was very disappointing.

The location was great. Easy access and great to have 3 bathrooms.

We stayed here for a week and unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. While the view from the terrace was lovely and the space itself was decent, there were quite a few issues that made the stay uncomfortable. There were no hangers in the apartment, which made unpacking a bit frustrating. The cushions on the terrace furniture were in horrible condition – definitely not inviting for lounging. We also had no TV for the entire week, even though I reported it on day one. The owner said someone would come check it out, but no one ever did. Be prepared to buy the essentials – things like soap, washing liquid for the kitchen, and other basics were not provided. Also, the shower drain had hair in it and mold around the edges, which wasn’t pleasant. A mop was provided, but it was so old and dirty that it wasn’t really usable. There was also no ironing board. The pillows in the bedrooms were so lumpy and uncomfortable that we ended up sleeping without any for the whole stay. All in all, the view and space were the only highlights. A bit more attention to basic comfort and cleanliness could really improve the experience.

The owner stole our security deposit of 200 euros. We’ve seen in other comments this is something recurrent. So don’t count on this money. This happened even though we didnt cause absolutly any damage to the property, the only problem we had was that we forgot the keys inside the apartment once, and we had to spend the night in the street because the owner didnt reply us. Due to that, we had to call a keyman to open the door for us and spent 100 euros so that he would open it without any damage. After that, the owner called us and said he would steal our 200 euros, started screaming very bad words in italian, and even said he would kick us out without a refund. That’s simply not what someone worried about his guest’s stay would do. All he wanted was an excuse to get our money. The apartment also has a michophone recorder, which is always recording everything and it beeps when you talk on a certain level of noise or when the owner wants to scare you off.
