Cosy Chalet for Snowdonia

The hall was cozy and it was a unique experience.

The property was good but there was no water in the shower at all so we couldn’t shower. The toilet flush wouldn’t work unless you flush it multiple times. The wifi was awful. The owners did not reply to us at all despite calling them and texting them.

Location good, we chose for proximity to Llanberis for Snowdon, Caernarfon is a quick five minute drive. Holiday Park itself was very nice

There was no electricity left on the meter for us as agreed. I had to go and buy a £10 top up card from a nearby garage. These things happen - but what was disappointing was that there were signs at the property saying to call the hosts if any issues. The call went to voicemail and I also sent a text message - there was no acknowledgement at all let alone a sorry about this oversight. So essentially the night's stay cost £10 more than advertised and they did not even have the courtesy to reply.

Location is fantastic, easy to get to lots of tourist attractions. Kitchen appears to be new and is well equipped. Beds were comfy.

I get the feeling that the owners haven't been down for some time and are letting the park/cleaner look after it. The bathroom ceiling is covered in mould and the toilet seat is broken. The bedrooms were full of cobwebs and one has mould developing. The laminate floor in the living area is coming apart leaving gaps in the floor and the edging is coming away from the wall. Furniture is chipped and marked. My father in law had a chalet which was "looked after" by a park so I understand it's probably not the owners doing, but they need to be aware of the lack of cleaning going on. If the chalet was maintained to how it is in the pictures, it would be good value for money.

The chalet was perfect for our little retreat. The quiet location nestled into the trees made us feel like we were getting away from our busy summer term. The chalet itself was cosy and comfy and had everything we needed.

Lovely location in a holiday park. You need a car though as it's a bit remote! Well equipped kitchen for a family. We had a comfortable stay here.

Outside sitting area wasn't accessible, could have been maintained better than it was.
