Cosy Chalet for Snowdonia

The location of the chalet was perfect for dropping in to snowdonia. The living room and kitchen was wonderful a lovely area to relax and cook in. Facilities at the bar/pool area are great!

The shower was not operating correctly, water was either freezing or piping hot, this would happen without the dial being turned. It was unsafe for the kids to wash there so we had to boil water in the kettle and cook that to wash them, this method was also used to wash my wife’s hair. The double bed requires a mattress change we just rolled in to the middle and the bathroom as a whole requires updating, the toilet seat was loose, there was dirt and hair on the walls, overall it was a bit grubby!

Cosy Chalet was the perfect base for myself and the kids. We stayed here for the weekend so we could climb Snowdon. Clean and comfortable cottage on a nice camp site with great facilities.

The location was central to where we needed to go. it was quiet. Facilities were adequate, comfortable sofa and beds. Kitchen well equipped.

Messaged host the evening we arrived and didn't hear back for the duration of our stay. We were unable to use the TV for anything apart from UTube. Shower curtain mouldy and shower rail rusty.

I didn't have breakfast most enjoyable

The location was good and the property was tidy. Towels were supplied and the kitchen was well equipped. Sofas comfy and throw blankets for when the temperature drops in the evenings. We found the beds comfortable and the shower was of acceptable pressure.

As other reviews have said - the property smelled of damp. I find in North Wales this seems to be a bit of a trending problem. Saying that, there were no signs of damp or mould (I'm a builder, I usually notice these things)

It had all you needed and great surroundings and location

The decor was a bit tired and bathroom needed an upgrade and the garden was unkept an overgrown

Location was good. Did not include breakfast as there was a kitchen in our rental.

We were not aware of limits in place for energy usage. It would be good to educate renters during booking process that being conservative with energy is expected. It is a good practice for all to learn.

Very essential and quite small if you are in a group. The images are misleading about the size of the apartment.
