GBThe college buildings and grounds were very impressive. Only a short walk to the city centre.
We booked three rooms as a family of four and found that two of the rooms were in a separate location over the road. No attempt was made to rectify this. Lack of parking near to the college was a big negative. The standard of rooms was poor for the cost. Breakfast was mediocre. Check out time was 9:30am.

ARGBExcellent breakfast and I bought dinner. Very good, very friendly and a bargain. Everyone I met was friendly and helpful. It's not my college but I thought it was a very good substitute. Better in a lot of ways. Not so 'up itself', as we say.
The room was a bit grubby. Not sure it had been 'refreshed'. The shower was cold in the morning. Maybe I wasn't working it right. Or possibly it was for nostalgics and people who wanted a true taste of the experience I enjoyed in 1975. Then it was all boys and the cold showers were probably insisted upon by the department of moral philosophy.
