the owner is a quite person but very kind and considerate. she was one of very few accommodation-owners who speak english. 1. specially she took care of our electrical bicycles which need battery charging. she made an indoor space in a different house which is perfect. 2. also the kitchen which is well devised and like home kitchen was very nice to use. 3. the room we stayed has so nice mountain view, which was tranquil. 4. during our stay, it was heavy rain and we, bike traveller, probably made the space dusty. but she understood the situation and was generous to provide more towels to wipe water on body. 5. we vediotaped the house because her retro-renovation of the old farm house(actually looks old shop house in a farming village) was very intriguing and informative. (very japanese as well as very moderate and inexpensive)
nothing special. if you stay here, you might enjoy the village first. it is a bit far from the asakura downtown. we went to the town in the first day and there were not that special things to see or do. we might wander about the village itself more next time.

Firstly, amazing host, we have no words to describe how cute she was when bonding with our kid! The room is lovely, perfect kitchen facility, a nice garden. There was actually much to do in this small town, which was lovely during Sakura time.

Inside an peaceful old town in Akitsuki Asakura. We enjoyed very much the dinner in a local restaurant that serves mainly local villagers.
Only one bathroom in the house.
