BESuper clean, calm and the owner is very kind 😊
Only for people who like to walk and nature 😅
SGVery nice and clean ryokan in a quiet neighbourhood. An extra bonus is that we got the place to ourselves as there were no other guests. The host provided eggs, sausages and bread for our DIY breakfast.
the neighborhood is a little quiet.
SGExeunt location. Sakura is within walking distance of 3 mins. 4 mins drive to Akidzuki jōkamachi walking street that is full of Sakura blossom at both sides. Akizuki Castle ruins just nearby. Room and kitchen are spacious There is a garden in the backyard just behind our room with nice view.
We need to fit our pillow case and blanket cover ourselves to minimise the odour smell of humidity. breakfast is DIY with white bread and butter in the kitchen.
GBGood location
It is best to bring your breakfast
ILThe house is a well preserved old townhouse, decorated beautifully, with a water stream running through the front yard, which makes the stay a cultural experience on its own. The rooms were comfy and warm. The kitchen had supplies for making a nice breakfast, coffee and tea, which was just what we needed to start the day. The host was helpful and kind.

AUGood facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
NZThe place is lovely and the little village itself is utterly delightful (though I think it would be quite hard to access without a car). Check-in was easy and parking was right next to the house so that was nice and simple. The room was spacious, clean and very welcoming. We were there around New Years, so not much was open, but even then just walking around the area was a lovely time. We recommend going to the izakaya called 居酒屋大臣, the food was great, especially the beef tataki ("beef swatter", on their menu). The host was kind and efficient, we communicated in Japanese but I understand she speaks English too, which is less usual in such a rural area. I would really love to visit again.
The futons were slightly thin and hard, and the main room didn't have any curtains (it wasn't a bother to most of us, but if you're sensitive to light that's something to note). But I wouldn't say it detracted that much from our one night stay.
