Casa della Villa Pozzallo

We spent three wonderful days at Casa Della Villa in Pozzallo and absolutely loved it. Our spacious apartment on the second floor was entirely ours, featuring a wraparound balcony with multiple doors opening onto it. The views were lovely—overlooking the town, a nearby park, and even a glimpse of the sea. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of town, with beautiful walks along the waterfront just steps away. Our host, Pietro, was truly exceptional. He went above and beyond, even picking us up from the ferry terminal and welcoming us with delicious local pasticceria treats. We highly recommend Casa Della Villa to anyone visiting Pozzallo. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, charm, and warm hospitality.

Nothing. However, I would suggest the addition of a small microwave for added convenience.

Location is perfect - right in the heart of Pozallo with everything you could need on the doorstep. Apartment is extremely spacious. Original vintage wallpaper - very interesting and retro, you can imagine how it must have been to live there in another era. Building equipped with a lift. Beach is just a stones throw away. Lovely balconies to sit and soak up the atmosphere. AC in living room and main bedroom. WiFi available. Although there is no dedicated parking for the apartment - there is a lot of street parking available all around. We had 2 cars and we always managed to park them both within a few metres from the apartment. Pietro sent us a lot of information before arriving, translated into English 😁 Excellent value for money... We would absolutely consider staying here again if we are in Pozallo.

I didn't have a problem with it but the older members of the family found it a little noisy at night as it is on the main street and the windows are original so not sound proof. If you're sensitive to noise it might be bothersome but personally I was not disturbed by the occasional zoom of an engine. We did notice a few things that need attention, nothing that would massively impact your stay, but just observations for improvement - some areas where is wallpaper peeling/ripped, shower fixture a little unstable. It is such a nice apartment it could benefit from a few repairs to bring it up to it's full potential ... I would be happy to pay more next time!

We truly enjoyed our stay here. Our host was very easy to contact and communicate with. He met us at the ferry and drove us to the apartment. We couldn't all fit in one trip and he was so nice to drive us all in 2 separate trips! He was so nice and friendly, introduced us to Pozzallo on our ride and gave us some local information as well. The apartment is very well furnished and comfortable, very spacious. The rooms were all clean, comfortable, and had plenty of dresser and wardrobe space. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and clean. We were missing some amenities when we first arrived and the host came to replace them within minutes! The location is GREAT! Very central, walking distance to the piazza, beach, water, restaurants within minutes. We faced the park and can sit out on the balcony in the evening to enjoy the silence and the view. Even though it's so close to the piazza and is on a main street, because the apartment faces the park, we heard no noise from the street below. There is a supermarket about 5 minutes' walk away. The washing machine is convenient and there is a clothesline on the balcony as well as a drying rack for indoor use. Would definitely stay again next time we're there.

Could use a microwave.

Centrally located with plenty of space inside. I liked the retro interior and the balcony. It's close to the local beach and short drive to others in the area. Location is great to explore nearby attractions. We were welcomed with some sweets from the local pastricceria and greeted by the friendly host who also gave us some recommendations for places to eat. We enjoyed our stay and liked the idea of being in the walking proximity of local amenities.

Internet was weak.

The apartment is very spacious and really well located. The beach and main square with restaurants is right outside the door. The apartment is very well equipped - kitchen, laundry, bathroom facilities and ample towels. Pietro went out of his way to make sure that I had everything I needed, even going so far as collecting me from the ferry terminal when I arrived in Pozzallo late at night. Pietro was a terrific host and I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Pozzallo!

The apartment is on a main street, so make sure to bring earplugs!

Amazing location with a fantastic host.

Pietro's apartment is located as centrally as it can get in Pozzallo - the bedroom overlooks the main corso and the balcony overlooks the park around the city hall, so you can probably greet the mayor if you stay there on a working day. The area around has several shops, bars and restaurants. The Torre Cabrera and the seaside boardwalk are literally next door. The apartment is huge, it has 3 bedrooms (we only used one), a big comfortable kitchen for self catering with gas stove and a large dining room. Useful for winter stays - AC in the bedroom can be used for heating. Pietro is a very friendly person. We stayed in touch, he was always ready to assist with information. On arrival he kindly brought us a package of sweets from a local confectionery. Some food was also available for breakfast in the apartment (cakes, toasts, milk, coffee). Despite the central location it is actually possible to enter the location of the apartment by car but finding a parking space directly there is tricky. Access is a little more complicated (but still possible) on weekends as the main corso is closed to traffic. For completely hassle-free parking we used the parking space on Piazza delle Sirene, on the other side of the city hall, just a short walk using the seaside boardwalk.
