The Jewel of Jacksonville

Overall, the house was great, and much better than a hotel! It was significantly bigger than we thought it was going to be. Location was perfect. The kids had so much room to run and be crazy. Thankful to have a washer/dryer (even though they're on their last leg). The way you lock up when you leave and the security system was super easy and made us feel very comfortable to leave our things. Please understand that we were VERY pleased with this house and would definitely book the same place in the future (despite the negatives).

I'll start by saying the host kept changing the thermostat on us. We're not tiny people and we're used to Ohio weather. We had to reset the thermostat multiple times a day to a comfortable temperature for us. (It's a Google nest, so the host has access to the thermostat). I'm just going to do the rest as a list: 1. There are no dressers or hangers, so we had no where to put our clothes. 2. The beds are listed incorrectly. This house actually has a queen in the master, a queen in the second bedroom and 2 twins in the third bedroom. 3. The vanity in the bathroom was literally falling off the wall. The host was very quick to respond and had contractors out the very next day to fix it. (Which they didn't fix it, but they tried and then we were just careful to not touch the vanity.) 4. The couches in the living room were very well used and you sunk to the floor every time you sat down. 5. The towel bars in the bathrooms kept falling off the wall (just had to keep tightening the set screw). 6. The dining room table needs to be tightened up, it's super wobbly. 7. The floors were absolutely disgusting and after just a few minutes of walking around, our feet were black. Stains on the bedroom floors and the second bedroom floor has mismatched floor pieces with sizeable gaps in the seams. 8. The TV in the second bedroom doesn't work (not a big deal for us though). 9. Kitchen supplies: good selection, but the skillet was well loved and EVERYTHING stuck to it.

The house was roomy and clean.

The carpet rooms should be shampooed or replaced. The towels need to be replaced. The garbage in cabinet was full which we took out and used the other one. All the decorative pillows on the beds needs sewing on one side. The neighborhood was quiet.

It was all well maintained and clean lots of room no problems from the surrounding neighbors had some miles from the beach but gave perfect time to see new things

only had 1 remote to control 3 tvs was told 1 room had a king size bed and it was a full size and another room was suppose to have a queen but it was a full as well but no worries

My family enjoyed the place, they said it felt like home away from home, everything was clean and tidy, all appliances were in good working condition Good lighting, safety was on at all time.. Surveillance cameras was in place, and working.
