Beautiful location, breakfast looking over the views was a lovely start to the day. The breakfast was fantastic, the baked yogurt was delicious. The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. The room was nice and there was all you needed. I was offered fresh milk to take up for a drink which was thoughtful and appreciated. The room was warm and a nice size. Gorgeous walks close by and lots of places to visit such as Grassington. Some good pubs nearby to eat.

The bed was not comfortable. It was on even ground and I slipped down the bed. Staff were really helpful and we moved room. The mattress was still too soft for us and we did not sleep well. Deliveries or staff coming to work early in the morning also disturbed us. There was not many options on the dinner menu and the cooking was inconsistent and could really have been improved. I was disappointed my confit of duck was served with gelatinous skin instead of being crisp. The room could have been cleaner, there was dust and cobwebs all up the walls.

Nice views, ample parking, decent sized well decorated rooom

Breakfast could be better, sausages undercooked, tinned mushrooms, bacon was very salty. Evening meal was OK but not great and would have preferred to eat in the restaurant and table was small for four people. The big room by the bar lacks something, the Rest of the place is comfy and welcoming, this area just looks unfinished and was quite cold as there are no curtains on the windows
