Fantastic location

Bit noisey on a weekend night

Noise from bars and crowds downstairs was terrible. Hardly slept on the first night (Friday). Found other accomodation in Auckland for our second night as we could not stand to stay another night

We like location as it was central to everything and had a good view. The home was very comfortable.

As this property is on top of restaurants/bar, there was a band playing until 3am which made it impossible to sleep. The window were not insulated well with some gaps. This happened on the Saturday night only not the Sunday.

Beautiful scenery and lighting. Lives up to its name.

Location is next to the docks. View is great!!

Booking .com says 12 check in to 12 checkout. It's actually 3p.m check in and 10a.m checkout. We arrived thinking we could get the keys at 12. Certainly not allowed and no where to leave the luggage and no advice given on left luggage storage. There are places close by however, we went straight to the travel information point to book the hop on hop off bus and they kindly kept our luggage there. Outside space only large enough to stand!

If I could give negative rating I would. this apartment is a private AirBnB, but all the advertising photos make it appear as part of the hotel it is located in. In the weekend don't expect to get much sleep as the noise from the bar on the ground floor will still be going at 3.30am and then there is the noise the fridge makes, sounds like a jet plane. Level of cleanleness was average, hair tie on towel rail beside the fresh towels, chewing gum in waste bin, first time run shower a layer of dust was washed down the drain. Fire alarm in bedroom had masking tape over it.
