The Penthouse At Quayside

The location is perfect for a trip to York with the added bonus of a parking space for the duration. The apartment is clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The hamper was a lovely addition and was much appreciated. We look forward to hopefully visiting again in the future.

The sofas weren't very comfortable.

The location was excellent, and accessibility within the apartment block was good. Having the use of a lift made all the difference!

The owner had paid such attention to ensuring the apartment had everything you needed and more. The information provided was clear and helpful. This was one of the nicest apartments we have stayed in.

Sofas could have been a bit more comfortable.

The carpets were the cleanest we've ever encountered in a holiday let, and the kitchen was superbly equipped with high quality appliances. In addition to a range of interesting books, there was a large variety of boardgames and the totally unexpected hamper of goodies went down a treat!

We were a bit confused about the soap dispensers in the bathrooms, as one was labelled as a moisturizer. It was only a minor inconvenience, however, and solved through experimentation.

Issue with raw sewage outside front entrance. Rectified promptly and efficiently by Stayyork. Maybe clean the deluxe windows as view across city was fabulous. I clean the kitchen one to get a cleat view of York minster spire.
