The location and property

The staff did not speak English at all. They misunderstood everything we asked for and charged extra for pillows, soap and all basic facilities. When asked to arrange for any activities around they refused flatly and when asked to arrange a drop to the pier, they dropped us at the wrong location in the opposite direction at a bus stop where we were stranded and still charged us 500 baht. Very poor service!!!!

The views of the mountains in the national park were stunning. The chicken cashew nut they serve at the Bridge Hill Cafe is actually the best I've ever had.

Almost nothing locally so without a car you are reliant on taxis which aren't easy to find around there (forget Grab app). The facilities are a bit run down and in need of maintenance (shower only had cold water, bath had no pressure and the warm water became cold by the time it was full).

The tent and the view was really nice.

It is in the middle of the jungle, so it’s basically impossible to get somewhere as no grab/bolt/taxi wants to give you a ride to the city center or if they do, it’s really expensive, so you’re basically stuck. Our ‘room’ was next to the road. There were road works going on, so it was noisy and simply not pleasant and the workers could see us. No one speaks English, so the lady at the café (there isn’t any reception desk) had to use the translator on her phone. As we arrived, we had to leave a 300baht deposit (which was weird as there was no information about it before) and when we were leaving I had to ask to get it back (they simply forgot about it, which is ridiculous). Definitely too expensive for such quality.
