Appartamento in posizione centrale, accogliente e con arredamento curato nei dettagli.

The inside of the apartment was beautiful and cosy. The bed was lovely and comfortable and the shower was spacious and always warm. The location was perfect.

The building itself was very run down and the lift a bit untrustworthy - however this isn’t the host’s fault and they’ve clearly done what they can with the apartment.

The decor

The apartment initially appears consistent with the listing photos, presenting a modern and well-designed interior. However, in practice, the space is notably dark and smaller than expected. The bed frame has sharp edges, which resulted in multiple minor injuries during our stay. The apartment has only one window, offering an unattractive view. The building’s exterior is poorly maintained, and the entrance is difficult to locate, particularly at night due to insufficient lighting. Additionally, the main entrance door is old and challenging to operate. We also found the listing somewhat misleading, as the images suggest a more attractive building than the actual location. The apartment is situated above a theatre, and the exterior does not reflect the impression given in the advertisement. While the interior design is appealing at first glance, cleanliness standards were not fully satisfactory upon closer inspection. Furthermore, the level of provided amenities was inadequate for the duration of our stay. For four days, we were supplied with only two coffee pods, two towels, and two toilet rolls. When we requested additional items, we were advised to purchase them ourselves. Given that the accommodation is not among the most affordable options in the area, we believe better value can be found elsewhere. Although the host was communicative prior to arrival, this level of service was not maintained during the stay. While we respect efforts toward sustainability, the limited provision of essential items over a multi-day stay is not reasonable. Overall, our experience was disappointing, and we would not recommend this property.

It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed

The stairs were particularly dark when returning from an evening out. Lights appeared to be on sensors but very rarely worked so a torch was a must

De meeste reviews gingen over het gebouw maar wij vonden de oude lift wel gaaf :) Misschien een wat grotere koelkast zal fijn zijn.
