The location couldn't be better as it is walking distance to everything, but Antigua is a very small town so that comes easily. Staff were fine to check us in. I LOVED THE ROOF TOP DECK which is why I remember choosing this property initially. It is possible to see all the surrounding cities and volcanoes including Fuego. There is food and beverage served on the rooftop although we elected to eat at other establishments. For being in the center of town, our room was very quiet. The courtyard is cute and I REALLY LIKED the DECORE in the CENTRAL AREAs as it was VERY AUTHENTIC.

I can't remember exactly what we paid, but the rooms overall are pretty dated and there was mold on the ceiling. I stay in a large range of accommodations (hostel beds to five star resorts), so I need to consider what this hotel is ranked. The room was poorly ventilated with no AC. We used a fan and opened a window (from the central courtyard) to air out and stay cooler.

There was no breakfast included so I cannot comment. The location was convenient however it was during the flower festival and it was very noisy even inside our room. The walls were so thin we could easily hear conversations from the people in the next room.

Where shall I start… First off, this is in NO way a 4 star hotel. 2 star at best. VERY overpriced for what it is. This hotel did not feel clean. We had some sort of moth eggs under our pillows and top of our sheets and on the headboard. We notified front desk and the man made us feel like it was no big deal. All he did was change the top and bottom sheets and say these were moth eggs or something. We slept with our heads at the foot of the bed and left only after staying one night despite paying to stay 2. Other things, bathroom soap empty at sink, no breakfast offered, rooftop patio looked rundown and dirty, room smelled musty and was outdated. Definitely won’t be recommending this hotel to anyone. PS We ended up switching to another hotel which was a 3 star and absolutely beautiful and less than 1/2 the price.

Great location

No AC or refrigeration in room. No free water to brush teeth with. Room was overhead reception area. Noisy in mornings as people checked out and employees came to work.

The public spaces are very nice and very clean. The location is fantastic. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The room is very basic. Just old furniture. The slatted chairs for the table did not even have a seat cushion. Much more could be done to give the room a Guatemala flavor.
