The Grey Haven Birmingham

The house is clearly set up for a large number of contractors. There is plenty of space and lots of beds. The house was clean. It is good to have a dining room and washing facilities, including a dryer. Off street parking. The house ended up being ok for our stay as we borrowed a lot of items from a nearby family member to make cooking possible, but we wouldn't book again.

Kitchen not stocked very well for cooking. Only a few small saucepans and frypans for a house that sleeps 10. No baking trays or dishes. No plug for kitchen sink or washing up bowl. Broken cupboards and drawers in the bedrooms. Not enough towels for the number of guests. The house is managed by a property company who isn't really interested in the guest experience, only in taking the money. A few of these issues have been mentioned in previous reviews but not fixed. We had trouble getting in to the property due to bank transfers needed for security deposits and poor communication with the managing company.

There isn’t any full mirror in the apartment. The mirror available was very high and the other one was only for decorations. Other than that, I loved the apartment

size of bedrooms, location, conservatory , was clean

lots of rubbish outside when we arrived , poor quality bedroom furniture, the main bedroom needs a new wardrobe as it was incorrectly put together and almost fell over when we put clothes in it , the single beds need new mattresses . limited kitchen equipment for size property , no kitchen sink plug , broken cutlery , needed to reconnect gas cooker as plug socket didn’t not work and oven wouldn’t work until the clock was set . no light bulbs in hall . garden was very overgrown and grass very long . decoration of poor quality finish

The house was spacious, clean and really nice inside and out. A bonus was seeing 3 foxes in the garden each morning. The kids loved it! Great location for us visiting family locally and close to parks, takeaways, Lidl and the petrol station. The host communicated well and put my mind at ease about a few things. Easy to contact and happy to call to answer questions. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and the beds were great. We will definitely book again

No plug socket in the box room with the single bed. No hot water in the bath or sink. My Son isn't great with showers as he's younger but he couldn't have a bath due to the hot not working

House very clean and tidy.very comfy and great location

Wife not working at all and one of the wardrobe from main bed was collapse in the middle of night.apart from that very great place to stay for big families.

Nice and spacious house. Lots of communal space and excellent parking on the drive. Host is great and fast with his replies. Safe and quiet area.
