Gwel An Keynvor Penthouse

Great location, amazing view, apartment done to a high standard. The white goods were really good quality eg great washing machine and dishwasher - makes life so much easier! Found the beds really comfy, and the sofa was also great! Lovely place :)

Nothing to dislike, we loved our stay and can’t wait to come back. Because of the hill there can be some noise from cars revving up the hill which can occasionally be heard in the back bedrooms - this wasn’t an issue for us (we are city dwellers so used to a bit of traffic noise) but some people might want earplugs for night if they are light sleepers.

Central location, spotlessly clean, great balcony and amazing views! Tea, coffee, milk and snack provided. The host was very responsive and helpful. We loved it and would stay again!

The main bathroom door didn’t lock.

The property is stunning. Beautifully maintained. Everything you need is to hand. Location was perfect. Could not fault anything at all. The owner was contactable when we needed to ask something. Very quick response. You won’t be disappointed with your staff.

Location was perfect and central. The hosts were very attentive, friendly and helpful, with the welcome hamper being a lovely touch. Would recommend this excellent property for anyone staying in Newquay, it had everything you needed and was spotless.

The apartment was lovely and spacious. Close to the beach and shops. The host was friendly and informative.

Clean, light, and spacious. The view was gorgeous! We had 4 people staying - 2 adults and 2 kids. There was space in the property to be together as a family and also have some alone time too - Having two bathrooms was great for this. Bedrooms were good sizes and beds were comfy. Kitchen had everything needed. Appliances were good quality. Balcony/terrace was great for relaxing outside and drying clothes and towels! The location was fab - with 2 kids (4 and 7) 3min walk to shops and food places and nearest beach was a 5 minute walk and to get to Fistral beach it was a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive.

We liked everything about the property and it suited us. There were just couple of things we noted while we were staying: Bring some pegs for drying laundry / beach stuff so they don’t blow away in the wind. When eating out on the terrace, watch out for the seagulls. The property is only accessible via outside stairs / fire escape so wouldn’t be a place we could stay at with parents with mobility issues.

Das Penthouse im Herzen von Newquay eignet sich perfekt für einen 5-köpfigen Familienurlaub. Es gibt drei Zimmer und zwei Bäder, leider nur eine Dusche. (Die Badewanne im zweiten Bad eignet sich nicht, um zu duschen.) Die Ausstattung ist sehr hochwertig inklusive Waschmaschinen und Spülmaschine. Ein traumhafter Blick aufs Meer sowohl von der Terrasse als auch vom Esstisch. Super freundlicher Kontakt zur Vermieterin. Ein Parkplatz direkt vorm Haus gehört dazu, den Strand kann man fußläufig erreichen. Auch alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Sollten wir wieder nach Newquay fahren, werden wir alles versuchen, hier wieder zu wohnen.

Es gibt nichts, dass uns nicht gefallen hätte!
