Double B&B Room in Southwater with Private Bathroom and Parking

Very good breakfast in the room, carefully thought out as with everything else. Excellent facilities throughout and we were made to feel most welcome

The location was easy to find but we had thought it was in a rural location. However that was no big deal and it was perfect for one night.

Matt is a lovely host, I was late and upon informing him of my delay, he very kindly waited for my arrival. The bedroom was very large, comfortable and the breakfast left in my bedroom was a feast. The house is recently renovated and spotless.

Unfortunately from the airport my only way to stay there is to book a rental car. Otherwise I'd stay there regularly.

The place is 30 minutes drive from Gatwick airport. The hosts Matt and Jeremy thought of every little thing you might need, up to tiny toothpaste bottles and sewing kits. We needed a microvawe and there isn't one in the room, so Matt just brought us one. No request or question remained unanswered. They are very communicative through the app. The complimentary breakfast was nice (instant oatmeal, jams, cookies, croissants, tea, coffee, orange juice and milk in the fridge).

You have to dress up to go to the bathroom, since it's not directly connected to the room (but it is private).

Modern estate house; very large room with front & rear aspects with double bed & sitting area; separate luxury bathroom solely for guest. All extremely clean & fresh. I have never stayed at a B&B with so many 'little extras'!; more than I would ever expect or use! Bathroom stocked with all sorts of pampering bottles, but more important the shower was excellent and loads of hot water for a good soak in the bath. Breakfast was a DIY in room tray; with a range of choice inc. instant porridge. No plumbed-in water supply in room, but a bespoke auto-water filter solved the problem. Mein host was very welcoming and friendly; on hand if needed but not intrusive. Parking for 1 guest car on drive. Good location for various attractions, e.g. Knepp rewinding estate, and not far from Gatwick Airport (12 miles?)

Nothing to mention - and I usually try to give 'constructive feedback'. Not a negative, but be aware to stairs are steep.

It was sparkling clean with literally everything you will need. The host was so nice and caring, made sure we were as comfortable as possible. Even though it's in a residential area we didn't hear any noise at all which was nice. The room was large and comfortable. Highly recommended

Every conceivable requirement provided. Extensive choice of drinks snacks and breakfast. Warm bathroom with toiletries and space to place one’s own . Comfortable large room. Desk chair and sofa at coffee table . Full length mirror. Lots of storage . Parking on site.

To be in Jeremy and Matt’s house is like a full spoil. You have everything from tidiness, cleanliness, cosmetics, toiletries, space, a lot of space, comfort, games, safe, iron board with iron, desk, internet, Tv, everything and anything you can think about it you are offered. Kindness and welcoming is the first thing you receive when you step in even if you look like a lost bird (my case after driving half a day and working the other half 😂 )
