Hakuna Majiwe Beach Resort

Lovely staff, relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. We arrived late in the evening and the manager especially waited for us and prepared dinner for us, he also treated us to dinner the next day, we felt like royalty. The place is so relaxing and close to everything you need.

Very friendly staff, well maintained common areas, VERY calm, yet in walking distance to Paje and all it's amenities.

The beach in front of the property is a spot where a lot of algae collects. No smell, just lots of algae in the water and on the beach.

The island vibe was awesome, as well as the staff.

The mattress on the beds can definitely improve.

The buffet food was average for breakfast, and unfortunately below average for an expensive dinner especially when compared to all the restaurants in the beach. Surprising that there were no options of fresh fruits and vegetables. Pool should've cleaned more and the sunbeds need upgrades

staff is really very nice .. commun area is also nice ( restaurant , beach ) .. for food there is not a lot of choices but the quality is good

the furniture in the bedroom is very old , bathroom sanitary is very very old also .. massage cabin is like a garage… over rated and value for money is really bad

Super peaceful and quiet. The beach was absolutely stunning. Great location, near Paje and Jambiani. The villas were very cute and we loved the hammocks outside! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, especially the ‘egg station’. The rooms were cleaned to a very high standard and the ‘turn down’ service was appreciated.

We had an issue with the location of our room (we would be woken by smoke filling our room in the early hours, due to local fires) which the manager swiftly sorted by helping us move rooms. There didn’t seem to be enough sun loungers for everyone staying at the hotel.
