"Such a lovely get away"

Had a lovely stay in the Owl's Roost. The hosts were so kind and couldn't have been more helpful. It was so peaceful being surrounded by fields. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfy! We will be returning again in the future.

Had a lovely stay in the Owl's Roost. The hosts were so kind and couldn't have been more helpful. It was so peaceful being surrounded by fields. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfy! The hosts even offered to provided a telescope to use for the clear nights, which was a very nice touch (we did bring our own) We will be returning again in the future.

Was a nice and quiet location surrounded by fields. Great to see the cows in field waiting for us when we returned from our meal.. There were two shepherd huts plus the added bonus of a covered wooden bench/picnic table as well as separate table and chairs. for each hut. Firepit was great plus the added bonus of a telescope to use on a clear night which was unexpected. The hut was a really good size, bigger than most we've stayed in. Nice decor and the layout was great. We were provided with tea and biscuits on arrival plus a few breakfast bits, which was a nice touch. Bathroom a good size also, didn't feel squashed up on loo like you do in some! Host were lovely and even gave us a tour of the farm. Was nice to see the calves and chickens, even gave us a couple of eggs to take home!
