Such a lovely little stay, really enjoyed our time here. The cutest cottage and view, loved that we were able to make our own fire, a very cozy stay.

"Magic mountain retreat - Totally recommend"

A wonderful iconic Oakune cottage with every need considered. I loved the distinctly NZ mountain retreat feeling - interesting art and decoration - a great selection of books - the fire place - the coffee machine -the super comfortable beds and the cozy couch - I could stay a lot longer ... next time 💗 Also It was great we could bring our little dog with us

"Cosy, spacious, character cottage"

Really charming character cottage in a very quiet neighborhood, just 5km from Ohakune. Offroad parking, lots of character features. Netflix on the TV a good option for a quiet night in. Would love to return in winter/autumn for a weekend of walks and fishing, and cosy board games. Shower water pressure was excellent!

We had an issue with the lock which the owner quickly resolved. We are very careful and suggest adding this instruction to the house notes.

A beautiful, interestingly decorated cottage with so much character. There was everything we needed and more. Sincere thanks to the hosts for the wonderful Christmas decorations which made our stay very festive. Quiet area with a lovely country feeling and views of the mountains.

Having to take away our own rubbish but understandable!
