Great location and having a kitchen made the difference! Being able to park nearby was also super helpful. It was clean and had pans to use with the stove.

The TV remote and button on the TV were not working right, but that's an easy fix of a new universal remote.

"Decent property, just check the detials"

7.0

Location off of Kings Street was very good. a short walk to the bus stop on the corner. A local store just a couple blocks away and an awesome bagel store almost next to the location. Although it is in a good location for King Street, if you want to walk in the historic district, either learn the free bus schedule or bring walking shoes. It is also close to the visitor center.

The entranceway was always wet from dripping A/C units and had a very sour smell. Based on which unit you rent, the parking is either right outside the property, or you have to walk to the corner to park. I was just parked for a few minutes to unload and was basically asked to move. They need an area for you to load/unload if they will not allow you to park at the property. Through no fault of the property, i failed to realize there is not an area to sit other than the upstairs bedroom. That is totally my overlooking of details. Also for some older guests, me included, the spiral staircase can be a challenge, especially when trying to carry luggage up and down. Again, solely my fault for overlooking details, but the bathroom is actually smaller than the one in our camper. At 6 foot tall and 220 pounds, I had to maneuver in order to get a shower. The property would work great as just an area to drop off luggage and go scout the attractions. Although the wet wooded walkway does need attention or someone is likely to fall, as it is slick. Also the smell is very overwhelming outside the doorway at times, and could be addressed. We were not dissatisfied with the value of the money. I just need to pay better attention to details.

"Very tiny, extreme staircase ,Tiny shower."

3.0

Close to town and college. Friendly 1 time visit from staff.

Cute, but this place is extremely small. The high pitch internal spiral stair case was very hard to get up. You would have to be a very young very small and a very coordinated person to survive there for long. Amenities were fine. Parking was not at the building but through a channel next door. Kitchen was ok. Do not rent this if you are over 200lbs. Unless your an athlete. The shower is too small to hold a reasonably large man or woman.

"A secluded little loft convenient to everything"

10.0

A cute little loft (my girlfriend likes tiny houses, so this fit the bill), only two blocks off King Street, hidden away in a compound of airbnb properties in the revitalized, Boho-chic Cannonborough/Elliotborough neighborhood. We were texted a door code shortly before arriving. Upon entry we were greeted by a lovely gift bag on the table welcoming us to our little house. Though small, the kitchen came equipped with everything one would need. Just outside our door bicycles were available for rental, though we never found the opportunity or need. Also, a free designated parking space in downtown Charleston? Sign me up!

If you've seen the pictures you know it's small, but not even the pics can prepare you for just HOW teeny! Front side of the building was being rehabbed, so (short term anyway) expect a little construction noise. Laundry room was on the eastern end of the building; wanted to sit outside one morning but the laundry vent blasted hot air. Minor quips all; listen, we loved this little loft.

"Great location, everything I needed for a long weekend."

10.0

The loft is close to everything. I could walk everywhere and it had everything I needed for a comfortable stay including a well equipped kitchen, full fridge, microwave and stove.

Just a note for anyone with less than perfect mobility, the spiral staircase between the bedroom (upstairs) and the bathroom (downstairs) is rather steep and the steps are small.
