Room i booked had no balcony

The bed was comfortable although no blankets were provided the first night (which was super cold) and I had to sleep in my clothes and coat as all they left in the room was a single sheet. The decor was modern and the space big. That's all I can compliment them on I'm afraid.

DO NOT STAY HERE. BOYCOT THEM. I was gaslit, lied to, avoided, messed around and strung along for 2 weeks. I booked a 2 week holiday to rest after being chronically ill and ended up staying in the most stressful hotel you could book. THIS HOTEL IS FRAUDULENTLY ADVERTISED ON BOOKING.COM. Both booking.com and Distrito Corazón are aware of this, they continue to allow it to happen. I booked this hotel because it is advertised as being on street 14 and 35th, which is a quiet residential street. It is actually on 14th and 5th which is the busiest, noisiest place on earth. The hotels on 35th know about this problem because it happens all of the time and neither the hotel or booking.com have done anything to change it, despite me asking them to fix it on the site. I wasted money on 2 taxis, first going to the place advertised and then going to the actual hotel location. I complained about this from day 1 of my 2 week stay and was gaslit by the hotel saying 1) no, the hotel building is quiet and not noisy, 2) we are advertised correctly on booking.com. Meanwhile the music was so loud it was like a D.J was inside of my room. When I sent them proof they told me it had nothing to do with them and that it was booking.com's fault. I tried to resolve this 5 times. Booking.com said it was the responsibility of the hotel and supposedly tried to call and email them to either get me moved or to arrange a partial refund and the hotel avoided them. I asked them to get in touch with booking.com and they said they would be in touch with them and continued to avoid them. Both continued this game for the whole two weeks and I was stuck in an apartment which had the loudest music playing all day every day from 9.30am to 1am. The hotel continued to avoid, gaslight, lie and try to deny all and any responsibility. The sofa STUNK of old sweat. The apartment had ants & no mosquito nets. The pool is small and not nice. They don't deserve your business. Embarrassingly poor service.

La ubicación muy buena. El espacio sumamente amplio. Espacios cómodos, platos a la mano. Excelente precio. Solo faltó una persona en el frontdesk para dar la bienvenida o darte apoyo cuando llegas si no sabes abrir la puerta.

La olla estaba sucia con unos restos babosos blancos, la cafetera estaba sucia y con humedad en el interior. El corte de agua fue en un horario complicado que retrasó muchos planes de mi parte, debió ser más temprano.

This place and host are nothing but a scam. Half way through the day that we were supposed to check-in, we get a message from the host stating that the 2-bedroom unit we booked is no longer available and that we will be moved to another apartment on the other side of the city. I told them that’s fine as long as it’s a 2-bedroom, the responded without any care stating that it is a 1-bedroom unit that we’ll be moved to and that it has a pull out couch. I explained to the host that we booked a 2-bedroom unit for a reason and we need it for our vacation. This whole conversation is happening on WhatsApp as I’m flying into Mexico. The property offers me a full refund however this option isn’t feasible as we were literally flying into the country and wouldn’t be able to find another place on New Year’s Eve. After a lengthy back and forth the host says we can move into the original 2-bedroom unit that we booked 2 nights later. We agreed as this was our only feasible option to barely keep our vacation alive. But it gets worse, as we arrive to our first unit (which is across the city and 1 bedroom less than the unit we booked and paid for), the pull out couch that was supposed to suffice for the second bedroom was tiny and for children. I sent a picture to the host (which I’ll post here as well) of my friend laying on with only half is body available to fit. After two gruelling nights without sleep, we moved to the original 2-bedroom unit. This unit was trash. Every window and door had massive gaps around the sides, letting hot air and noise in. There were blood stains on the towels, walls, and floor. Overall this has been my worst experience to date ever travelling and we are very disappointed with how the hosts, as well as booking.com has handled this situation as we feel our vacation was ruined and we were scammed.
