Muirfield Lodge

Nice and cosy. Peaceful area. Close to central. Highly recommended

The room was available On a weekend which was busy in Inverness.

The shared house was very basic. It was not very clean (dead woodlouse in bathroom) The en suite was absolutely tiny, hardly any room to use the toilet and the sink was minute. It was all very unfinished and tired with a lot of work needing done.

Nos alojamos en la habitación con baño privado, la cual recomiendo mucho. Esta un poco alejada del centro, pero se puede hacer caminando en 25min. Esta oka para el precio que hemos pagado.

Comoda al centro (in auto), ampi spazi comuni, comodo aver la lavatrice.

La pulizia dipende molto da chi sono i vostri vicini di camera, comunque aspirapolvere disponibile

Cold The hot water never got hot Central heating was capped at lukewarm and the cleaner repeatedly turned it off during our stay We were not sent the key code despite me emailing the host on the morning of arrival, sending them an eta and ringing them several times over two whilst parked outside in the cold and rain (along with an Hungarian couple in the same situation) The property was far less central than implied in the description Bathroom was tired and the toilet was unstable and wobbly Heating in the TV area didn’t work and made the room unusably cold

It was ok for the price. Good walk into town, you certainly get your steps in for the day. Fairly clean and quite tidy.

I sent a few messages but they weren’t answered or even acknowledged. Our rooms weren’t allocated properly but the two ladies who we had to ring were great and sorted it. The bottom oven did not work, two tea towels left were disgusting and the tv remote didn’t work properly even after the owner said he’d fixed it. The sliding door into the ensuite needs attention.
