GBReally charming loft suite in a private family home situated in a quiet leafy road of Victorian houses a few minutes walk from Kingston town centre, bus station and train station. Quirkily and beautifully decorated with lots of personal touches, a large comfortable bed and a fridge with a pint of fresh milk (not sachets, hooray!) to make your coffee in the morning. Thoughtfully left croissants on the coffee station and lovely en suite with big fresh towels. Greeted politely snd promptly by Craig who showed us round the TV remote etc and gave us keys to come snd go as we wanted - we felt really safe snd welcomed. Quiet spacious room lovely clean fresh bedding - Perfect for what we needed
Not sure if it’s allowed but it might have been nice to be able to lock our room door or have a small safe so we could leave our valuables - but once we met Craig we felt comfortable leaving my large handbag in the room when we went out for the night. Also - a tiny thing but might be helpful - there was a cafetierre but no fresh coffee - we love fresh real coffee so we were initially excited to see the cafetierre. Of course we were fine with the instant coffee provided but maybe if you are going to put a cafetierre in there then leave some ground coffee otherwise don’t bother putting the cafetierre! But you can see there was really nothing to complain about if that’s all I can think of to improve things! Also Craig - change your WhatsApp photo! I think it’s a fancy dress one and you are a lovely charming family guy but if I were a girl staying there on my own I would have felt apprehensive being messaged by a man in a balaclava!
GBWe had communication from the hosts and they are super friendly. Our room was amazing. Very comfortable bed and great facilities in the room. The location is great and just a couple of minutes walk to shops and Kingston Station. Our flight was delayed on Friday night and the hosts were kind enough to wait on us arriving slightly late. Definitely recommend staying here and we would love to go back.
