- Convenient Location - Parking available - English speaking stuff - Cheap for the area - laundry available

- It was said the one could order dinner (and there was free breakfast expected I think?) but none was in place - The room smells a bit but one gets used to it after a while

Located in the caldera of Mount Aso: very easy access to great hikes and landscapes. Enough car park spots for everyone without reservation.

You will need a car to get here, but you also do want a car to get around the caldera so it's not a problem directly linked to the accommodation. One toilet/shower for many rooms. Many big insects outside the building, be careful at night

We loved this small town, and although we had a full day of rain so we couldn't travel, we found the room to be very cozy and the kitchen facilities useful

You need to have a vehicle to get to the nearest convenience store

It was definitely value for money. You were provided clean sheets and had access to showers/toilets and a kitchen area.

It was just a tough location to get to and there’s not a lot around it so be prepared in terms of food/ looking into transport options etc

Large common space and close to nature

Location has no public transport close by. 30 min walking from the train station. 2+ hours of public transport to Mt Aso crater, while car takes 20 minutes.

Located in a gorgeous spot with a spectacular view of the mountains in the morning. As soon as my friend and I saw the location we made sure to book a second night. The interior was cozy and the staff were both helpful and friendly.

Kids loved the novelty of having a split level. Great location to explore Mt Aso. Handy to have the common kitchen & eating common area. Didn't get a chance to try the outdoor BBQ, would've been great.

We were greeted by a not so friendly man at reception. We had trouble booking directly on their website, ended up booking here, but $50 extra per night for our family compared to their own site. Cash only payment at the property. Shower is reasonably clean. Toilet isn't replenished for the 2 days we were there. Dusty fan & cooking/eating equipment in our family room.

Price was cheap

Value for money, the room is quite spacious, with laundry faculties

There is no towel in the room. And the staff who checked us cannot communicate with us in English and also sick (without wearing a face mask), this is later address by another staff stepping in
