The Woodlands Bed and Breakfast Ironbridge

Marian and David were extremely hospitable and in no hurry for us to leave on a miserable wet Sunday morning. Being up above the Ironbridge Gorge you get amazing sunsets. It is possible to walk to the Gorge attractions, tbough it's an energetic uphill walk back to the guesthouse! Would highly recommend.

What a lovely stay and B&B. Dave and Marian are perfect hosts, with a warm welcoming air about the whole place. We cannot recommend it enough ! Facilities, cleanliness, presentation, location, views - outstanding. A wonderful breakfast cooked while we engaged in great conversation. They even cooked some sausages for our two dogs. We will definitely be back ! 😀

Cannot fault it.

Marian and Dave made us very welcome from the moment we arrived. The property is lovely and the room was spotlessly clean and very attractive. The breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked to order - and there was plenty of it! It kept us going until teatime! Marian even put a flask of fresh milk in our room each day, for our cups of tea. We were welcome to make use of the beautiful garden to sit and relax in. There was a Garden box in our room, with blankets and a lighter for the firepit, if we wished to sit out in the evening. It was a short drive into Ironbridge where there are a variety of shops and places to eat nearby. Marian and Dave are happy to make recommendations. We also enjoyed making the acquaintance of the resident cats! Ww would definitely recommend The Woodlands to anyone visiting this area and would more than happily stay there again if we return to Shropshire.

We liked everything, from The start to the end, nothing to dislike

I'm not one for usually leaving reviews, however, i couldn't fault the property or Dave and Marion. I stayed for two nights whilst working away from home. They were very welcoming, the room was as advertised, the location was fantastic and the breakfast was top notch. Will definitely be back in the future. Thanks Luke

Marian & Dave were amazing hosts so warm and friendly and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble for them if we asked for anything and the cats were cute ! we chatted like we had known each other for a long time. The view from our room was stunning looking out over the garden and fields it was so clean and lots of attention to detail with lovely décor. The breakfast was so good with good choices on the menu.

We cant fault anything about the Woodlands apart from we maybe should have stayed a bit longer.

Everything was great. Dave and Maz were very welcoming. The room was very clean and comfy and the breakfast was lovely.
