The Sunrise Huraa

Very nice approach of the owner, his son and whole Staff to the guests. Upon arrival at Huraa harbour we were welcomed by the representatives from the hotel, making us feel special from the very beginning. The same happened on the way back. During the wole stay the owner and his son were very helpful and they had philosophy that there is no problem with any of our requests. They also arranged for us a direct transport to the airport. Thanks to them we could hear a lot of interesting stories about Huraa, the nature around, fauna flora etc. The son of the owner has a really impressive knowledge about the underwater world. We found them very open minded and discussions with them were enjoyable for us. The food was also very good. We also tried the dishes in other places in Huraa but there was no comparison especially with the service. The guys from the Staff were really involved with their work too. Each person was trying to make our stay as most nice as possible. We really appreciate that we could be in such place.

We were wonderfully taken care of. as soon as we arrive in the Maldives at the airport, the journey to Malé Huraa is done by speed boat in just 15 minutes. During from our arrival on the island, we were very well welcomed by smiling and welcoming staff. Our room was simply beautiful, spacious, very comfortable, well equipped and relaxing. We immediately felt like at home to our greatest happiness. Coast breakfast, we couldn't ask for better. Indeed, there is a wide choice offered to customers. At subject of activities, a large panel is available for all budgets. We had the chance to participate in the fishing activity with snorkeling and blue lagoon sandbank excursion which was Magic. On the trip I see too much daulphin it’s amazing ! We thank the staff for all the organization of the latter, for their smile and their kindness. A memorable moment in the middle of Indian Ocean. In addition, we were able to diversify our catering thanks to the restaurants located on the island, all of which are perfect. A very special thank you to Abdullah who organized our stay to perfection and who gave himself bother to respond to all our requests. We we really liked the moment of diving as well as the video taken with his GoPro which will remain a memory for life.

We’ve had the most wonderful stay! Everything was perfect: clean room, comfortable bed, tasty food. Everyone was super nice and helpful, we felt welcome and taken care of. Even our 3 yo wants to come back for couple more nights :)

We loved the ‘home-from-home’ feeling cultivated through the well-designed facilities, seamless service, and emotional connection with the staff. We believe this is what makes Sunrise Huraa to stand out as a new type of luxury hotel in the age of overconsumption. The guesthouse provided everything we wished for (and even more): a comfy mattress to ensure peaceful rest, proper storage to avoid visual noise in the room, a complimentary bottle of cold water, and peachy, instagrammable beach towels. Breakfasts and dinners were the very best on the island thanks to the high hygiene standards, luxury dining-like experience, and reasonable prices. The food choice is a bit limited (well, it’s still a modest hotel on the island), but we found it delicious and very nutritious. We missed our Maldivian breakfasts so much that we got seven cans of tuna to recreate a glimpse of our vacation back home. Sameer and his staff create an unforgettable guest experience. They anticipated all our needs. They respected our privacy to let us sink into the quiet of the island and joined our conversations in the evening to share inspirational stories about island life, hospitality, people management and personal development. It felt like a retreat with a best-selling author - Thank you, Sameer, for sharing your wisdom with us!

This is a flawless hotel

Fantastic. A simple but comfortable place, with everything you need and an easy walk to the beach. The owner and son are terrific, with exceptionally kind and thoughtful staff. Also no single use plastic!

Sameer is a 100% professionnal in tourism, worked 2 decades at a famous 5-stars resort, fully oriented on his guests well being, he will offer you excellent services in the house as well as extra services for boating, snorkling, restauration etc... He will give you a 5-stars experience with a taste of local life on a local island. His crew is very well trained and will do everything to make you feel at home, and help you in every way they can to make sure you spend good vacations on their island. The guest house is really good modern, comfy, clean. It feels like home on a paradise island
